Powering healthcare: Solar + storage modular microgrids for rural and urban health facilities.

Role: Senior Solutions Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to our Solutions Engineering Manager and Director SE, the Senior Solutions Engineer will be responsible for design and engineering, data analytics, and energy simulations for solar + storage microgrid projects using top technologies (e.g., Sungrow, Huawei, Tesla, SMA, Schneider Electric). The incumbent will focus on evaluating asset performance and conducting analyses to enhance our competitive edge.
Conduct techno-commercial evaluations (CAPEX, OPEX, energy simulations, LCOE analysis).
Prepare proposals, tenders, and techno-commercial submittals (financial modelling, reports, designs, BOQ, simulations, cost analysis).
Develop energy assessments, 3D layouts, and PV electrical system designs.
Build detailed load profiles and determine optimal system sizing.
Design layouts in AutoCAD and perform performance optimization.
Assess PV/BESS/DG microgrids for on-grid/off-grid scenarios using PVSyst, HOMER Pro, MATLAB.
Simulate microgrid control strategies for different load types.
Analyse operational data for performance improvements.
Define technical specifications for standard system offerings.
Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
Minimum 5 years in Electrical, Solar PV Design, and Engineering roles.
Professional certifications (COREN, PMP, or equivalent) preferred.
Strong track record in techno-commercial proposals.
Proficiency in solar software (HOMER, PVSyst, Helioscope, PVCase, SMA Sunny Design).
Skilled in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
